Hornby have got a lot to live up to in terms of livery with such a complex scheme! I'm surprised we still haven't had an H class announced - Bachmann have proved the market with the C class, we know it's an incredibly popular livery selling for hundreds of pounds on eBay now, and both are preserved locos.

they have got a lot to live up to, fingers crossed it will hold up against the C class as they would look brilliant next to each other

I wonder how they have de railroaded the Mk1s? fitted metal wheels? I can't imagine they have done yet another new tooling?

The Peckett looks as though it's going to look good.
(But the better the loco the worse the Hornby couplings look!)

At £80, that had best be a very decent chassis and superb gearing.

And I've got to be looking at the Adams tank, just such a nice and different loco: an 1880's one that made it to BR days.

When they first released them, they had the railroad ones fitted with plastic wheels and reduced lining, and the main range ones with Metal wheels and full decoration.

That's the one I want to see, a really small steam industrial of the sort that a significant line side industry could and did operate. Hornby seem to have grasped what is required as demonstrated with the Sentinel diesels. Properly equipped with a motor and drive line capable of smooth low speed movement.

i like the look of the Peckett, but am hanging on waiting to see some reviews on it first as the short wheel base could be an issue
