Hornby class 153

My hornby 153 is not running well it goes then stops and wont start please can i have some advice as it is my favroite engine thanks in advance ciaran :D

Have you cleaned the track and wheels recently?

There are many ways:-

A PECO PL40 Wheel cleaning Brush & Scraper set (you can also use it to see if the wheel is transferring current to the motor)

A TRIX 66602 Loco Wheel Cleaner which just sits on the tracks and you position the loco wheels onto it.

or

A cotton bud dipped in IPA..
No more fotopic, now onto flickr...
