Postby eagle50043 » Thu Feb 28, 2013 5:04 pm

hi all,

i need 2 pantograph's from the Hornby class 87.

ive been searching around and cannot find anyone selling any ?

the only one's ive seen advertised are the x8013 pantograph, which is bulky / oversized
and is the one used on the hornby class 86 / 90 not the 87, and of no use to me.

cheers.
ste.

The pantograph on the original 87's from Lima were a *nicer*, less bulky design than hornby's (*in my opinion*),

I have a spare Lima panto on a lima class 87 I'll be having on my 'scrapyard' project, the panto I have IS'NT the early 'pre-80's scissors' design, but the later version.

Marklin also make them (as seen listed for sale on ebay) & I think Somerfeldt may still make pantographs suited to 00/ho scale, I think the somerfeldts are very similar profile to the lima version.

PM me if you're interested in the panto from my Lima class 87.
