G'Day Gents

If you want a different A3, try BR green and 'PINK' smoke deflectors (German type), I think it was 'Galtee More' that was fitted with the new deflectors, and sent back into traffic so fast that it was in traffic for a while before it had them painted by it's home shed.

When you installed the detail parts (smoke deflectors), what size holes did you drill if any? I have a detail pack of draincocks etc to install on cylinders any suggestions about positioning them?
Regards and thanks
Stephen
PS Excellent colour change, perhaps Hornby could do likewise on some locos.

Didn't drill any holes for the smoke deflectors, just pure glue and holding them on till glue sets. And I do have some drainpipes but they foul the front bogie when they go round tight corners so haven't added them :(

And hornby might if a loco actully did come in grey tbh

Here we go, I've managed to find the picture, and it was in color not black and white.

The loco concerned was/is 'Flying Fox' 60106, October 1961
