The Hornby Shunters Truck - they seem to be getting pretty scarce.
Re: What Item of rolling stock would like to see return ?
I know they were only out last year but i would like to see the car flats with some ford cortinas this time round back ing the range as the were good wagons also from th 80's rang the operational coal hoppers in which a hopper truck is pussed up the incline the over a bridge the a lever is caught & the coal falls in to a waiting truck & i think this would be good for the railroad range also the tri-ang road railer would make another nice addition to the range

Not really a re-issue, but with Heljan having done an "86" electric and Bachmann working on an "85" - I think Hornby might retool its class 90 or 92 to a similar standard to say, its 60 or 50. They were quick to follow Bachmann's 4 CEP release with their own 4 VEP. I'll go for the 92, since I think it has the same bogies as the 60.

The Tri-ang-Hornby R.028 shunters truck would be nice.

Not sure on the R number but ive got a hornby toad with a working light on the back. Perfect for todays dcc market! Looking at the wheels id say its from the 80's.

I've got one of those too! Shame that LED is a bit bigger than ideal. Reminds me of something out of a school CDT class

R714 is the number I believe. The light on the back is not an LED either, its a standard filament lamp with an oversized red lens stuck on the back.
A bargain is something you really don't need at a price that's completely irresistible!!

They did the LMS brake van in the same format with working Bulb. R107 was the first cat number. The vans had Silver Seal wheelsets and were nice runners.

Re: What Item of rolling stock would like to see return ?
They'd have to use modern underframes, the diabolical brake gear, the overly high buffers and that awful expanse of black plastic between the buffers and the coupler, drove me to the competition many years ago. I only kept mine as I had already fitted them with undersized wheels (hidden like the brake gear by the footboards), and Mainline or Bachmann couplers after removing the excess plastic under the bufferbeam.
Growing old, can't avoid it. Growing up, forget it!

i agree withevery for the horsebox there were out sometimes ago but they stop making them & there soo becomes a demand for them & a but to date modern verson no onethinks that products that were produced many moons ago are now in demand i.e. the blue pullman made over 40-50 years ago & hasbeen in demand for a new modern model & now its here i think that model railway manufactors should make new models & revive some old models
