What Item of rolling stock would like to see return ?
I would very much like to see the return of the Syphons, and the Fruit Wagons
The lima Mk 2 E/f stock

Re: What Item of rolling stock would like to see return ?
I wouldn't want to see any of the old Lima models myself, the Mk2 aircons deserve a complete new model to sit alongside the current standard models. I would however absolutely love to see the old Airfix LMS suburbans return, as they are of a similar standard to the 'B' set and Autocoach, but I believe the tooling for these was destroyed in the Dapol fire some years ago which is why they've never resurfaced.

Hornby could usefully revisit some of their Triang - Triang Hornby epoch models with newly tooled accurate replacements, as they have done with the Arthur and M7 for example. I reckon they would be onto a winner with an accurate motorised Cowans-Sheldon 75T crane set, which would mean the old model can then go into 'Railroad'. And how about the first BR bogie container flats, and their Trestrol 6 wheel bogie wagon?

The old Triang EMU... yes it was wrong but it somehow captured the feel of a southern EMU of the period and would sell like hotcakes I reckon.

The working post office coach my bro and I had when we were kids. It would through out and pick up a sack at speed. Class

Isn't the operating mail coach still available? I'm sure I saw one in Modelzone the other day.

I used to have an operating helicopter car (Triang) but I don;t think so.
I liked the old Mainline vans with doors which actually opened...they could be loaded and unloaded in various degrees.
I found an Allsops recently which I bought in remembrance, Finescale is not everything at the right price.

Guys
I would like to see the return of the Jouef SNCF RTG ( http://www.frtrains.com/SH/JOU/JOU84.jpg ) in HO scale. This train was so cool back then and it is such a pity that Jouef discontinued it.
Regards
Patrick

Kitmaster Mk1 coaches. (I,m told some of the moulding tools for these when acquired by Airfix were used as doorstops so sadly, I don't think we'll be seeing them again!)

yes please. The 1960's BR version. Very difficult to find (even on ebay) and, I think, only produced for 4 years
...on a train to nowhere, halfway done the line...
