What should Hornby make next?

The 334s certainly aren't my favourite, but the 318s are. What I wouldn't give for a model of a modern-day 318!

if we know what you mean we will buy to keep you producing.
The high detail matters a bit less to me than the impression, so something like railroad quality would do for many (though I know that is your old/poor stock graveyard, for cheap young beginners)
you will not only make money but also make us all smile and buy!

Haven't been any inaccurate Tri-ang 0-6-0's or 4-4-0's in the main range for many a year Rocketman. All have been Hornby items, the schools, D49, compound, J83 and 1978 onwards jinty are all Hornby models. The only Tri-ang 0-6-0's in the range are Duck, a much modified ex-midland 3F as James and Devious Diseasel in the thomas range.

Hornby should in my vastly superior opinion, retool and bring out loads more 'Terriers!'

(before Bachmann, create an even more detailed and stunning version in 00, that would probably not look out of place on a rivet counters layout! )

Well some new 060's would be handy, but would Terriers appeal to those outside the southern region? No offence Terrier.

The Terriers' similar Highland Railway predecessors (Lochgorm etc) might appeal!
I think they would be looking at widening rather than narrowing their market.

I know Hornby have done the grange but I've yet to own one so I can't comment on those

on the GWR theme..

it would be nice to see Hornby or Bachmann produce some of the eight coupled tank loco's (72XX/5205/4200), as nice panniers, prarie and autotanks are, it would be nice to have some bigger tank engines to put on heavy freights

the terriers in my opinion are detailed enough at the moment, maybe bring out an A1 condition one to create 672 fenchurch, 82 boxhill and 54 waddon.
