Backscene blending success

I've finally successfully blended my backscene, I painted the road on the layout and the backscene the same colour..

Re: How Tall (yard lighting)

Hi, I'd say your estimates are about right. I've scaled both football goals , football stadium floodlights and a football pitch on my layout. Sometimes it's all about what looks right on the layout but isn't necessarily the right size in real life. The best way is to get the real life measurement an...

Re: Strange request but help appreciated

The job doesn't look that bad and as I said I wouldn't do what I did again. The grass is very short and doesn't look to long. Sadly I can't upload a photo of it on here but it is on a well know video site under the same name as my user name followed by Railway.

Re: Strange request but help appreciated

Thanks for the help. I have eventually done this using a 0.8 sized pen. The results are ok but not amazing. The rest of the detailing on the layout will hide it as there's plenty to look at.
If anyone is interested in doing the same I wouldn't advise what I did but I'm fairly happy.

Yes it isn't going to be easy, but if it's easy it isn't fun I guess!

Strange request but help appreciated

Hello everyone,
I've got a model football stand with pitch on my layout and was wondering what to use to mark the white lines.
The pitch is made from gaugemaster grass on a role but sadly I can't seem to upload a photo of it.
Many thanks if anyone has any suggestions.

Backscene lesson

Some friendly advice regarding backscenes.. I marked one of my backscenes and decided to change it. It was a gaugemaster and came in three sections. I decided I only needed to change two of the three and fortunately checked before that they aren't identical. The new one is slightly darker and the jo...

Re: Signalling help please.

I might go for the easy but unlikely option if two on one post. The photo shown doesn't have signal line working as both signals are off!!

Signalling help please.

I've got a terminus station with 2 platforms. The lines go into a single line when they leave the station. How would I signal this with semaphores? I'm guessing it's two separate starting signals on seperate posts and I'm not worried with distants. Ideally I'd like two starters on one post but I thi...

Mine comes apart completely, luckily I've made it so you can work on every individual part and the board when it's up in the virtical position

Re: Signals

To add a distant signal it can always be on the same post as the starting signal, this is to save space
