Re: Monmouthshire Bank Locomotive Inspection & Stabling Point

I dont go on Ebay anymore as I just buy more 60's !!! The 08s are Bachmann (RES) and Hornby (EWS & Mainline). I perfer the latter to be honest they feel more meaty if that makes sense ?!

Re: Monmouthshire Bank Locomotive Inspection & Stabling Point

Hello, Excellent news my locomotive fleet has returned from main works attention, however 60048 was just to far gone has donated its undercarriage to 60033. 60048 has thus become the first member of the 100 strong fleet to be disposed of. Sadly my camera is in for repair, so pictures wont be forthco...

Re: Bachmann Windhoff MPV

The Signal Box are still showing the DCC Fitted unit at £98.99 and the Non DCC Fitted unit at £89.99. This is very very good compared to the other big shops that are doing theirs for over £100.

Re: Bachmann DCC Sound

If you want a good sound loco then I'd avoid the class 20 like the plague. The recording is awful, its been stretched because the loco used for the sound recording wasn't throttled fully up so they've electronically modified the recording to compensate and it truly does sound naff. If you want a cl...
