The cunning plan has worked. Well done. Thanks, looks even better with a little tidying up. No more pictures yet, the signal box has had a couple of washes applied and looks a bit of a mess at the moment! Hopefully all those how to videos on Youtube are right and I can clean up the excess later! :s...

Thanks guys. Paul, I wasn't going to as you can't really see into the box, the whole thing, including steps is only 44mm wide! I'm not sure that fruit or meat would be appropriate for a signal box (yours look great by the way!) but I might be tempted to knock up some levels, stove, clock and various...

Try Nigel Lawton, he sells some cheap small motors. Be carefull though not all are rated to run on 12V - although he supplies resistors to cope with this.
