Re: Where Did That Go?
I know Tavistock Junction and it was definately further than that - almost half way to Totnes. Could it have carried on a bit further that Tavy Junction? Hi John, I dont know the area too well so sorry for the confusion. 6C39 working with the Imery Wagons is usually St Blazey - Exeter Riverside. Ho...

Re: Blackpool Central - Kirkham Wesham junction.
Not sure if its me but if you zoom out a bit, showing more of the actual mainline..... the footbridge and looking over the area and towards the junction, you got the very much redundant...looks like a run around loop...there might have been some sort of station in the middle? Going from Memory, i kn...

Re: Class 67 top & tail
Yeh, it was Adam. People keep talking about this green rake of coaches but I'm sure their in Anglia livery, not Arriva, as far as I know all the Arriva coaches are now in the new Arriva color scheme. EDIT the photo was taken on the 28th of October 2008. The train was the Holyhead bound WAG training...

Re: Class 67 top & tail
What's this Arriva green set people are talking about? Do you mean like in this picture? Because I've heard from elsewhere that the only two coaching rakes used on the Paignton loco hauled was the intercity set, and the Anglia set. Karl, was that taken a year or 2 ago on the "WAG" trial r...

Re: Class 67 top & tail
Will have to get Mirrlees to answer this question as he knows more about it than I do. Sorry about that Ian, i jumped straight into replying without reading the rest of the posts  I'm not entirely sure how long that service will last for, it might end after the next timetable change either en...

The 2 virgin hired 57/3's crewed by GBRF and hauling an ex Anglia Set, which i believe is the Cardiff to Taunton service....
The Top and Tail 67 service i believe is the Bristol to Paignton with the rake of Cargo D coaches

Re: Network Rail Yellow Locos
The 37s (97/3) locos are specifically for testing a signalling system in Wales or somewhere like that, I think they have been used on charters, but two of the four actually have a shorter fuel range because of the equipment they need to carry. The yellow 73s are now property of GBRf as I understand...

Re: 60097 "Pillar"
- Does anyone know which depot plaque 60097 would have worn :? ? I can't find a single photo - even the ones showing sector livery don't appear to have a depot plaque. Apparently the loco's first allocation was Immingham, but I'd like to be sure. Hi Liam, It Carries the 40B depot/shed code which is...

Re: Steam through Rotherham
Hi Terry, Some great pictures, particularly liked the shot of 66019 earlier in the thread. The last picture of the "Teddybear" / Class 14 is D9523 which is in the BR maroon livery. There is a D9516 at Nene valley but i believe that its still in Br Green livery along with a few others they ...

Re: Alexander Dock Junction Model Railway (OO Gauge)
Newports docks has been unaccessable for years I belive. Hi Marc, Newport Docks are still regularly used on a number of services not just for Incoming foreign locos  There's the imported steel which comes in and is then sent off to Llanwern. Also there's the odd Tees Yard to Newport docks ste...
