Hi
Rails of Sheffield and Hattons have them in stock but not the liveries you want. I only put this up once I knew they were on their way out to customers.
Cheers

Re: Waiting for announced new models
Hi Here is the Dapol Virgin HST with DCC sound added. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUX7P_l29E8 This is a pre production model with modified lighting. The production model is far better. Dapol have done a brilliant job with the HST and I think most n gauge modellers will be very pleased with them. ...

Re: Locsound.....no Sound
Hi It is loco drive, if you watch that video of the farish n gauge A4 it will answer your questions. It will take 13mm, or 16mm or 16x25mm. You can get a 16 x 25 into the tender that what I put into the one on the video. For those that didnt see the video it is fitted with duel working smoke generat...

Re: NCE PowerCab
Hi
Another vote for the NCE highly highly recommended. But do as SRman said and try some other controllers. Then you will know you have made the right decision.

Hi
I dont think any of those speakers SRman suggested will fit, it is n gauge and a 20mm is wider than the loco.
Cheers

Re: Locsound.....no Sound
Hi Before you go pulling out the speaker I would suggest giving it a test first. If it is a 16x25mm speaker and you set your multimeter to the ohms settings (looks like a horseshoe). You should read between 95to 105 ohms 100 being ideal. If they have put 1 round speaker in 13 or 16 diameter you will...

Re: Connector i.d please
Hi If their are the ones I think you mean the brand name is" Molex" Hornby and Dapol also use them. The come in a 2 pin and up to 9 pin that I have seen in locos so far. I make my own molex plugs, as I have the special crimp which does the pins down to 1.25mm. So many on ebay but here is t...

Re: Whats the best shop to visit for N gauge?
Hi I like Hattons followed by Rails as they seem the the best for overseas customers. I would love to shop local, I really would, Perth or Brisbane. N gauge just doesnt seem that popular in Australia and the stock is terrible. I needed a class 66 in a hurry so on my way to the airport I stopped off ...

Re: Dapol class 58 with Sound
Hi Great video and it shows outstanding weathering and what is capable in n gauge. I'm not going to say its easy or hard but if their is a quid to be made why dont any of the UK hobby shops add sound to English outline in n gauge? I know 1 had a good go at it and has decided no more. Others just sim...

Re: Dapols new HST DCC sound fitted
Hi
Thanks 44007, Its good to know the soundfile is close. I am surprised though yours is the only comment on a imminent release of a new HST, and sound in n gauge.
Thats how it is.

Re: Graham Farish Class 37 DCC with Sound
Hi Douglas I did a search for the class 37 with sound and found this n gauge 37 with sound. A truly outstanding effort in weathering, the loco looks first class and very realistic. The attention to detail is way beyond anything I could ever do. The only thing that tells you its n gauge besides the i...

Re: Coach Lighting
Hi You can, but with a bit of luck it will all work out for you. The flickerfree is nice but not cheap. I still find it a bit odd waving a coach around or putting it in a box happily glowing. ha ha yes it is a bit strange, but it stops that annoying flicker. http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t243/M...
