You guys will cringe, but I use the old Tri-ang platform sections which Hornby use now. With some airbrush work they can be made to look decent and fit in of course nicely on a Tri-ang layout, although Hornby treated R.460 and R.464 to some hideous Brick work in the late 1970's and left the curved ...

There is also a spray craft glue that is safe for foam handy for brick papers ect.
The spray glue you must get it from an arts and crafts shop and make sure you grab the right can

Hi all The lump of ply/mdf would seem to be the best way am thinking 1/2" 12mm. Topped with plastic and extra fine sand paper, and faced with balsa and old rail for support posts. Who makes a suitable Light Railway station building kit the Triang and Hornby buildings I have don't fit that image...

First off that looks really nice.
How did you make it??
Call in the signal maintainer it needs adjusting the arm should be at 45 degrees (or is it just the picture)
So that if the down rod breaks near the arm it returns to stop.

In a word Shellac Not pre mix make your own with shellac flakes and high grade meths, it needs to be thicker than the pre mix. Put this on the card parts until it will not soak up any more. Leave it to throughly dry a week or more it must be well and truly dry. Now assemble you card whatever you are...
