A bit like some of the real ones then! That container would look ok in a building site or as a storage unit.

Hope this doesn't turn out to be the last set of photos, but of course other things take priority. Hope things work out better for you both soon.

Re: Hood-dale Main - V2 progressing nicely...

Loving the building work so far! Very good solid looking tunnel and retaining wall. Those flats really look the business as does the station building. Nice and grimy just as it should be!

PS did you try and ring me this evening?

Wow  50033 and 205025 look superb, great detailing! 50033 looks great with the smoke units running. Are you adding smoke units to the Thumper as well? 50033 does need a bit of grime though!

Liking the latest pics Richard. Will be a shame to see D1015 go but probably a good idea while the sound is still working sweet. Perhaps the new name should be "Old Oak Common - BR Blue Western era"!

Very good stuff Jas. That wiring looks a neat(ish!) job but good idea to label it all. Good to see the turntable working though.

Good to see an update to this Jed. Coming along nicely. For a card kit the container looks ok to me.

Re: Old Warren TMD - Interim future is now secured

Cheers guys as ever. Old Warren has a few new additions recently: Dapol 66072 has joined the fleet, and been subjected to weathering and bufferbeam detailing to match the others. 66072 is now the powered EWS 66, with 66008 and 66250 being dummies. 66250 has given the other powered chassis back to 66...

So the BR blue is permanent now if all the NSE stock has gone? If it turns out anything like your BR Blue N Gauge layout (and first signs are promising) then this will be a cracker especially once the Westerns are weathered.

Well we have an open road in the paintshop prepared for the arrival of the class 20! That's very neat storage you have under there - something I could really do with!

Great work so far. The new layout looks good especially now you've got some of the buildings laid out. Real potential in this. Looking forward to seeing how this progresses.

Here's a couple I've seen recently: 91005 light engine: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7213/7223166586_35a39b591c_n_d.jpg GBRf convoy - 4 locos, one of which was Rainbow 66720, plus two barrier coaches. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8141/6957187740_3f4a24c867_z_d.jpg

Re: Waton - N gauge challenge

I've been put right off the earlier Dapol 66s as I've had three and all were rough runners. In contrast my DCC-ready 66 is a lovely runner and has done sterling service in Colas or EWS guise. The only ommission on the later chassis is the day/night mode which I thought was a nice touch on the older ...
