Re: Wordsworth - 00 Loft Layout
Hi Gents, Well here are some photo's from my second visit into Flickr, hopefully I've ironed out a few issues like the linking photo ID & authors name. So after a few hours in the loft over the last two days I've been busy beavering away at the back of the baseboards towards the backscenes, not ...

Re: Starlingford - The End of the Line
Hi Gavin,
Always a sad day when such a great layout reaches the end of the line. Still as one door closes a new one opens, I'm looking forward to dropping into your next adventure.
Cheers Mike.

Re: Wordsworth - 00 Loft Layout
Hi Gents, Well after being cut off by Photobucket I'm testing my new Flickr account, I can't upload using the new Java uploader as all I keep getting are time outs, but luckly there is still the old version available which I'm using for this test photo. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4253/3482625352...

Re: Photobucket 3rd Party Hosting
Well my auto reply from the query to pb support doesn't leave me with much optimism that my links will be restored unless I pay the legalised ransom....That ain't happening at those prices. So search now on for a new method to post photos onto this forum. I should have read the full terms before joi...

Re: Photobucket 3rd Party Hosting
Hi Gents, Just been made aware that my photos from the photobucket account no longer show. I've just been to their website & found this in their new t&c's Free account : Each individual Member gets one free account that provides 2 GB of free storage or space available for your original photo...

Re: Wordsworth Card Kits - FREE downloads
Hi Troopers, Just a quick one, I've started test building a new kit, The Wordsworth Large Station version 2 I think. Need this large station as this new layout of mine has longer platforms which made the Grand Station seem a little too small. The build has got off to a flying start, looking good alr...

Re: Wordsworth - 00 Loft Layout
Hi Gents, Well after the last update I've not been back into the loft, I have been busy working on a new building for the layout instead. Whilst I was doing the scenic work around the farmers paddock & corn field I suddenly realised my Grand Station which was designed for my old layout didn't qu...

Re: Wordsworth Card Kits - FREE downloads
Hi Gents, Well it's nice to be reading that some of the kits which I thought people may have trouble with when converting to smaller n gauge have worked out well, remember feel free to post those pictures here as I'm sure it will encourage other modeller to take up the card way...LOL As you all know...

Re: Wordsworth - 00 Loft Layout
Hi Gents, Well here we are again with yet another layout update, nothing massive I'm afraid but at least movement in the right direction. So this time work continues around the new animal paddock & corn field idea. In the animal paddock I've used Woodland scenics realistic water for the watering...

Re: Wordsworth - 00 Loft Layout
Hi John, That's exactly what I was hoping for, I loved my old layout but with this new version I've aimed at using less track work to give a more open feel. Once I can extend down off both sides of the base boards I think it really will give the layout the space it requires, trains will look like th...

Re: Wordsworth Card Kits - FREE downloads
Hi Troopers, Just a very quick whirl wind update, finally I've uplaoded the Pringleton storage tank kit as many have been waiting for this, remember this is one of those kits that can't be resized or will work outside the UK as you need a Pringle potatoe chip canister as the base which you just cove...

Re: Block Signalling Module
Hi Gents, Well some good news I've got the unit to respond to a locomotive. All it took was a tiny white adhesive label under the model. I still don't understand why the range works fine on the workbench, I can pass a piece of plastic 95mm from the sensor & it triggers the signals. For some reas...

Re: Block Signalling Module
Hi Gents,
Just thinking out of the box so to speak. I assume the infra red sensor is basically an electronic switch? Could I remove this & add a push to make contact switch to trigger the signal cycle ?
Cheers Mike
