The Peppercorn was about £50,The spamcans were £250-300 each from Hattons.Ilike to see them run,glass cases are not for me.

Yes,a length of 1/8" sq.brass tube epoxied into the coach end & a phosphor bronze plug.

I found a photo of this loco as exworks on the net.I`m not certain whether the background colour was red or black,i also found a Golden Age loco with this finish & red backed plates.The plates are from the Modelmaster heritage range which are made to fit the raised pad.The LMS livery is correct ...
