Glad to see it's starting to look less like a general vague kinda plan to a proper (albeit 'naked') railway now. That's what the dressing gown is for :D Having felt like a big bag of poo for the last 2 days, I didn't make it down to Luton for work  On the bright side though, having felt a smi...

Whoa!!! Reminds me of a trip I took to Utah a few years back - wonderful craggy scenery.

Lovely water effect as well.

Good stuff mate,

Great-looking work there Dave. Very life-like. I love the weathering on the bridge and the platform sides,

Its been a busy month work wise with little time for railwaying unfortunately. Cheers to Tim and Tim for keeping the thread running in my absence :) A few things are holding me up at the moment: money being the key point. There still has been no more mdf in the scrap pile, so I may have to resort to...

Hi Gav, this is (continuing) to look very good indeed. I love the picture with the brewery and the telephone lines. Very realistic indeed. When I get the time, I am going to volunteer for the Severn Valley Railway - a preserved steam line - so maybe I can spend some free time hitting buffers with a ...

Lovely pics Walter. I love the detail you've put into it - especially the cliffs and the close-up shot of the coal / water area.

Look forward to seeing more of this one,

John.

Looking good Danny. Nice to see someone else has multiple scribblings on the base board. At least yours look as though they're in the right place :)

Stage 1: Locos and rolling stock in the washing machine. Stage 2: 90 degree wash cycle. Stage 3: Brief spin. Stage 4: 30 minute tumble dry on cool. You can now use the locos and rolling stock on your layout. NB: Don't forget to remove the tiny bits of "belly-button fluff" from the gearings...

Superb work there Brian. You've captured the feel perfectly. I hope the signal box can be placed where you can easily look in to admire the detail. Lovely photos as well.

I'm all for the scientific approach. Mine currently involves drinking some coffee and looking... just looking :D No problems with the incline. I just realised that having tacked down the twin mainline tracks behind the incline, I had about 60mm of space between the inside line and the boards for the...

Some more progress at last. :) A trip to the model shop in Ross-on-Wye before new year meant I finally had some Fleischmann insulated fishplates (as well as some new standard fishplates for good measure) so could finalise the interchange points between the two mainlines in the station approach. I've...

Looking good Michael.

I take it you can get access to the tunnel section to recover de-railments, dead spiders etc?
