Re: Control Panel Help Please

I used tiny crimp fittings to my switches, work fine and much easier, heatshrink the 3 wires to each switch to hold together and wire into pluggable terminal block, all comes apart simple. Marry up the plugable terminal block on layout board and then readyto travel.

Control Panel Help Please

Hi, embarking on N gauge layout and propose a control panel to show miniature track plan with point switches set in locations. What do you suggest as the best way to do this? Help wanted to recreate an era

Hi, just embarking on an N gauge layout and am considering following along the lines that I can actually remember, 1966 ish to 1980. While not absolutely fussy about real replication I want to follow the GWR region, but with modelling licence that would allow me to have a preservation line alonside ...

Re: Model & Hobby Show

Oh soooo sorry for posting my opinion, you are right of course I have no god given right to be allowed to see what the trade are allowed to see but without the buying public ( me included) there would be no-one to sell to would there?

Re: Model & Hobby Show

What a waste of time. No catalogue, poor service from the Exhibitors, total disinterest. Bachmann want to sell ? This is not the way, Peco not there went home yesterday ???? Please remember that it is primarily a TRADE SHOW . It is only as a favour you are allowed in . The catalogues cost £6.50 so ...

Re: Starting out with N

More questions .. sorry According to Peco there are 4 radii track curves they make, ignoring radius 1 they state 2 is 263.5mm, 3 is 298.5mm, 4 is 333.4mm, that is fine but where is the radius actually measured? Is it the inner rail, the outer rail, the centre of the track or sleeper dimensions inner...
