Re: Circle of OO/HO EZ Track or similar

I’d only be after enough to make a circle so wouldn’t think it would be that bad. Unless you have to send it internationally?

Circle of OO/HO EZ Track or similar

Hi I’m looking for a circle of OO/HO EZ track or similar. Just after something cheap I can set up around a tree this year and the EZ sort with raised bases seem a safer bet for the floor. As long as it’s enough to make a circle and run trains on it should suit the bill. PM me if you have anything yo...

Re: Table Top N gauge layout - Lammas Lane

Rolling stock has also been a focus of making N-Train kits for both preserved 1938 stock and 1978 D stock. Re: Table Top N gauge layout - Lammas Lane

A long overdue update on this layout. I will provide a quick summary of the bits done on the layout. A lot of work was done on the wiring so I now have isolating controls. A modified signal kit was built which has been connected to the point to switch both simultaneously. Using fine scale code 40 tr...

Re: Table Top N gauge layout - Lammas Lane

Street scene looks excellent - and a very apt film of course :D Do you intend to improve the realism further with some weathering, esp of the road vehicles? I think that’s certainly on the to do list to either weather or repaint the vehicles from the garish plastic colours of some or the cheaper on...

Re: Table Top N gauge layout - Lammas Lane

Time for another layout update I have been acquiring various parts to further detail the layout to my satisfaction. The people and most of the vehicles are from small bags of second hand parts from shows and traders. The lamps were bought from P&D Marsh and brush painted into what I feel is a su...

Re: Table Top N gauge layout - Now Named...

As you will hopefully be pleased to hear the layout has been slowly progressing with lots of extensive train testing(that’s my excuse for playing trains anyway). The layout has had some new rolling stock added to the rosta and minor additions to the high street in the form of vehicles from a variety...

Re: Table Top N gauge layout - Under(ground) New Ownership

The layout certainly suits your stock. I'd be tempted to try 3rd and 4th rails made from microstrip and mounted at rail height rather than the usual raised position. It would solve the clearance problem on the curves. Was your Corgi conversion based on one of these I do intend to add 3rd and 4th ra...

Re: Table Top N gauge layout - Under(ground) New Ownership

Some layout news but more in terms of rolling stock rather then any work on the layout yet but still a update. Following my conversion of the corgi underground train into N Gauge 1996 stock I wanted to add to my rolling stock and purchased the excellent N-Train kit for 1959 stock. The kit consists o...

Table Top N gauge layout - Under(ground) New Ownership

Hi All As the lucky purchaser of they layout I thought it best to let you know the layout is safe and sound. I have over the Christmas break been 'testing' both the excellent layout and the motorised Corgi underground train I have been working on and originally drew me to the layout. I hope to finis...

Re: OliverSR's Workbench

Time to dust off this thread and show my most recent project, which is really a re visit of a previous project. My original southeast Finecast p class on a bachmann junior chassis looked like a monster truck and thought I was happy with the paint job the chassis and running wasn't good at all. http:...

Re: OliverSR's Workbench

The Terrier has now received transfers and nameplates. Nameplates are from Jackson Evans range and applied using a careful amount of gel superglue and the transfers are prefix applied the same way as detailed on the E2 though numbering this loco was a breeze since I only had to worry about a single ...

Re: OliverSR's Workbench

Ah I really should check stuff before I number it I even looked on that page to have mine based on the 32104 for reference but somewhere I must have got muddled up in my head  . That's not quite complete then okay I think I will need to replace the 5 with a 4 then. At least that's a simple fix...

OliverSR's Workbench

After a period of abscence over the last year or so I have finally started getting back into some modelling projects and have decided to make more of a effort keeping you guys up to date. So I have set up this new proper workbench since the old thread was before I workbenches section existed(shows h...
