Looking good and glad you enjoyed your day. 34059 is a superb machine and will be a real favourite here I am sure!

Re: Bluebell Autumn Gala

Hi Kieran! Stowe does look smart, although she had just had the shed dust washed off her when I visited! The Q class 541 is in the shed as static display awaiting overhaul I am afraid, but looking good though and is right by the doors as you go in, so makes a big impression. The 9F looks a bit tardy...

Re: The Bluebell Railway

Yeah, that'll be good! I particularly like that photo, in fact it is now my desktop. It has a certain air of abandonment which I know isn't so, but kinda reminds me of the sidings and unused railway areas I used to frequent as a spotty yoof....

Do you know what, I knew that! I keep typing bloody Pannier when I mean Praerie, I have done it elsewhere....I think I might be dyslexic...  :| Thanks for the compliments though. I am not very good at this photography lark being from the point and shoot school, but sometimes I manage by...

Re: The Bluebell Railway

Instead of Thomas, this year the Bluebell decided to host a Family Fun Day instead with traditional English fairgound attractions as well as a four-train intensive service. Despite BBC predicting rain, it turned out really nice and sunny and we had a good day. Plenty to do and see and the only downe...

Bluebell: Southern at War

Made a flying visit yesterday to the Bluebell Railway as they had the annual Southern at War event featuring wartime costumes, military vehicles, Spitfire flypast etc. Visiting loco, ex-GWR Prairie 5199 at Kingscote http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc146/D_W_H/Railways/SRatWar2008.jpg Superb Vauxh...
