Re: Power Bus advice needed

I am using the peco conversion track. Already picked up a box, although i thought you got one turned out you get 4 in one box, pretty handy that.

Re: Power Bus advice needed

Do you connect the bus to the track and each end of the layout? I am doing a end to end, as i am running EMU's and DMU's.

Power Bus advice needed

Right i have the basebords nearly complete and i am about to start the track laying and wiring. My layout is just gonna be a end to end, terminus at one end with fiddle yard at the other. With various sidings along the way. Now the main length of track will be a 2 track line branching off to 1 at th...

Re: Need some advice on Tracks.

Just thought fexi would be the cheaper easier option on the long straights. Just thinking about the corners just thinking 4th and 3rd radius. God i hate it when other half interfers and says no. I planned for code 75 but now Hornby is what i have to use. Although i might ask if i can get peco points...

Re: Need some advice on Tracks.

Well I have been told I have to use what I have and only to add to what I have. I have tried every excuses in the book including all you lot have mentioned on track but no go so Hornby it is. So outer turns I am guessing 4th radius is more natural and 3rd for inner? How is Hornby flexi track?

Hornby Decoder, a little puzzled.

Ok i just installed a Hornby decoder into my "Tornado" and was puzzled by a loose purple wire. There is nothing in the instructions or on Hornby website or anywhere. Me and my stepfather spent hours searching. The decoder works fine and the train runs with it and we can't see anywhere on t...

Just had a look and the Tornado in the pack is the same as the train set so the pictures i posted is what you get. Nice when a model shop lets you look.

Re: Railroad Javelin DCC question

How hard is it to hard wire a decoder? I have never done anything like that before and i am a bit worried about it. But i can't afford the Normal version on ebay as they go for like £150 and thats way out my price range. Plus i hear that running DC on DCC is a bad idea so i need to do something.
