This was an issue that used to hinder progress of my own layout, as well as PedanticMongrels. In the end we went for different approaches. I took mine up, converted to 0 gauge and built a garden layout, Pedantic also sold up and went into 0 but kept his layout in the loft. He and I spent a lot of t...

Hi all, Well, as per the previous post. The launch of 92240 didn't go as planned. The locomotive only made it on half a trip during her test run before needing repairs. damn hi-jackers! and yeah I guess they would be bi-directional, in the sense that both tracks would be needed to form a loop for shunting into the bay platform and the sidings, I've been told that there is no need for a trap point on my layout as the headshunts serve this purpose Are they bi-direct...
