Re: Arpley Street, the invasion of the Sheds, page 6

Hi Andrew Ha Ha yeah the steam loco 0-4-0 on a plinth is a memorial to the areas railway heritage, soon a sign will be made and placed in front of it informing passing people what it is and why it is there,a good way to use an otherwise redundant loco I spent some more xmas cash today and recieved th...

Re: The Strogaloft - Construction Begins... Again!

Hi Dr Strog

You have come a long way since your old layout, see youve got a baccy 411 CEP,there was a big delay in these models being released, how does it preform?
They are very well detailed but preformance is just as important. It will be intersting to see this layout progress. :)

Re: Arpley Street,HEA project pictures pg5

Hello again In the fictional world of Hampton Hill it is 1999 and the 'Sheds' have arrived, they are taking away duties from aging locos such as 37114 leaving the 'tractor'on mundane duties like ballast workings. A few mintutes later and we move to 2005 and Nothern rail has come on the scene! 8) A vi...

Re: Crimple Beck Station

Hi hulldude 15

The problem with your 'Jinty' is because it uses the old Triang tooling,if you look closly the centre wheels dont touch the rails so dont pick up current. This makes it an 0-4-0.Also may be the wheels may need a clean using a peco brush and scraper.
Hope this helps

Re: Slightly

Hi Peak

It is amasing how this layout has developed, the part I like the most is the Old Oak Common style turntable-it gives the immpression that the depot was a steam age site and modernised for the diesel era.
If only the real Saltley had one in its heyday! 8)
Kind Regards

Hello Dave

Good to see you are reaching the finishing line with Potters lane.It is really a credit to your modelling skills, but as the railway modellers saying goes 'a layout is never finished' ,there is always something to add! :)

Well done,

Hello Hulldude15

For a first attempt, you should be proud of yourself as what you have achieved so far is really good.I espeically like how you have incorporated an incline into the track layout, well done!. :)

Re: Arpley Street,a DCC venture, point control pg 5

Hello again some more pictures, they show the HEAs I have been working on.They have been weathered, debranded or had logos faded and had the brake handle painted white and wheels rusted to give them an early 2000s look. :) Before... http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae331/Arpleymodeller/heas003.jpg A...
