Re: my layout arpley road

i would have thought that if streamline flexi track works then there points can be connected together with set track :| ,i will buy one and see and if not i will keep it for my distant project,an end to end layout built to be stroed under a bed. 8) :)

Re: Fosse Park Sishades obviously titled layout (photo warning)

At the moment all of the point work is operated ala God Mode. I would love to have a large panel with LED and switches rather than operate it with DCC. This will be scheduled in maybe early next year. you could always go back to DC? :) also i was looking at the pics of wiring,it seems a lot of wiri...

i suppose i could use flexi track and make my own radius? make it about a dozen mm higher so i can operate super detail models. :) i cant replace all my hornby track as i have ballasted 1 of the ovals and goods shed, that is not worth it,anyway hornby set track on radius 3 isnt any different form usi...

Re: my layout arpley road

the incline works fully now, nothing wrong!!! :D :D :D i cant owrk my bachmann class 47 as the hrony track supports catch the fine detail on the bogies, but lower detail models like hornbys class 121 bubble car and 101 will work fine as my hornby caledonian with low detail worked fine just now.i will ...

Re: Aston Barr

if they are new models then you can, anything like mainline, airfix, triang, dublo, lima will not work very well on code 75 finescale.but bachmann, hornby and heljan, vitrains will work fine as they have the correct sized wheels but older models have wheels to big for the finer rail.wagons and coaches are ...

3 My layout is set in the late 1960s(1967)and is modelled to reflect the railways of Britain during the last days of steam in the North West of England.ther is 3 mainline ovals,an engine shed, carridge sidings,an incline,a goods shed and accosicated sidings and a brewery siding complex.the layout is 9ft by 8ft and construction started in January 2008.all trains are now working.
