Re: Wenchford III, 7mm in a loft.

Boards are slowly progressing but to break up the continous wood work, I've started laying track, the locos and stock are to check platform clearances and that the track is laid as smoothly as possible. https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/387329_413525554980_508169980_14227...

Wenchford III, 7mm in a loft.

Work has started on a new layout, and a revival of the Wenchford name, I've been woodworking in the daytime but due to noise that could annoy the neighbours the evenings are spent doing quieter things like laying out points to get a rough idea of a track plan. https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hp...

Re: Cwm Lydia Railway

Work started today on taking Cwm lydia apart, with the extra buildings and track along with the number of large locos too I have decided to take it apart and start on a new larger layout, here are some photos of the destruction, watch this spa...

Re: Bachmann class 03.......

My father had a bachmann 80xxx in 7mm scale, for the majority of the time he had it it was on static display and because it was well painted it looked stunning, I'd just sit and stare at it, but I'd say that's a strength of the 7mm and 10mm models made by sangcheng for finescale brass, tower and bac...

In response to an earlier request, here are my videos of the Western with sound. Firstly with South West Digital sound - great sound but not very drivable, IMHO. http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l265/jslynn/Rail/th_SWDClass52.jpg Now, with the decoder reblown with Howes' sounds. http://i98.photobu...

Re: Wanting an A4 kit, but which?

it's nearly as loud as a portescap gearbox ;) it's noisey but it's mechanically very good, allowing train lengths to be tripled on his layout.
