Re: Starlingford - B1s, D11s, Q6s and a restaurant triplet p

Lovely photos as usual, Gavin. Some rather splendid additions to the loco roster too. I must say, it was a pleasant surprise to see a certain Q6 in a very familiar location appear on Hornby Railways' Facebook feed! :) Thanks Don - keep your eyes peeled, there may be another familiar shot appearing ...

Re: Let's Tango! O2 to be produced

Ah yes, I see what you mean. Shall I keep the dirt on the grille but not spill over onto the paint?

Thanks

Hi Dan

Yes, I think that would look very well indeed :-)

However, I'm less convinced by the blackening around the body grills - I can't find a single picture online of an...

It's meant to be a friction fit. A wee dab of loctite superglue will fix the problem.

Re: Starlingford - New Update! pg 131

After a brief excursion home, I have a couple of things to show you... First of all, Model Rail Magazine exclusive D11/1 'Marne' in LNER green. I got this in February but, other than on a rolling road, I haven't been able to run it until now: http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii283/Blackmarlin84/D1...

Re: The NER Q6 0-8-0 will arrive shortly

According to Hornby they've virtually sold out their pre-order allocation at Hornby.com; mine (in LNER livery, of course) is currently en route from those famed Liverpudlians...
