Re: Sheaf Valley Railway (South) - N Gauge Layout for Uni!!

Hey Steve,

The darker patches are where i've weathered the track. I gave them a light spray with some Railmatch Frame Dirt to dull down the sleepers a little.

I'll get some updated pics uploaded later! :D

Re: GF Class 101 Express Parcels question...

The Parcels Unit does indeed have two power cars and you will need 2 decoders. Just remember to program them so they don't run in opposite directions! :D

Re: Sheaf Valley Railway (South) - N Gauge Layout for Uni!!

Evening all, Not much to report today, but i guess regular small updates are better than none at all! The ballasting has been put on hold as i've decided to make the most of the new layout by extending the platform slightly, also the signal box will now be a platform box. This is the new section in ...

Re: Sheaf Valley Railway (South) - N Gauge Layout for Uni!!

It (Re-)Lives! I've spent the afternoon re-wiring the station board and amazingly it worked first time! (Well apart from 1 point which needs a clean!) This gives an idea of what things used to look like http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii309/olliereading1123/N%20Gauge/SDC14110.jpg Oh and i got the...

Re: Sheaf Valley Railway (South) - N Gauge Layout for Uni!!

Hello all! (Southernboy this post will answer your question) As i'm sure you are aware Dapol have recently released their magnetic couplings and magnets. They work very well indeed but the one problem i had was that in order to fit them you have to cut out sleepers between the track and you are left...
