Re: London loft build

Might see if I can acquire a couple - even if just for novelty factor! Constructed a test backscene board: http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd289/lozstlouis/9F315D19-A7F8-4D0E-A3B4-089E24AB7165_zpsmvdhytww.jpg And in position: http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd289/lozstlouis/1750F4BB-6BEA-49D0-...

Re: London loft build

A diversion. Went to the Spa Valley Railway gala on Friday. Got train from London to Eridge - only had time to hang around on the platform for an hour and then had to head back to town. Couple of snaps: http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd289/lozstlouis/1BC02602-29C0-4BB7-8B2F-37D211BC31AE_zpsbkoib...

Re: London loft build

I have repositioned my small work bench. Seemed a good idea to do this before it got covered again in the junk generated by layout building. It used to be on the right of the picture, just beneath the Velux. I have no put it centre. Mostly because the top of the bench was obscured by the new wider f...

Re: London loft build

This weekend I completed the basic framework. This time instead of using small lightweight battons, I invested in some CLS studwork timber to use as the support. I have some big spans to cover and lessons learnt from the original layout dictated I upgraded the basic frame with something chunky. So o...

Re: London loft build

Well have been distracted by another domestic project to convert the shed into a den for the teenage daughters (x3). New floor, built some units, filled with teen stuff: http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd289/lozstlouis/78A604F2-61D7-4C55-9AAD-E09CD4C839FD_zpskuqhd12d.jpg http://i226.photobucket.c...
