Haven't progressed much in recent months. Kids holidays etc. My next challenge is to decide what to do about my points. i could control via my Lenz (expensive though) or i could assemble a million switches and do it the CDU way... The lenz software seems a bit pony as well. Have others used computer...

Have been spraying some Peco concrete platform edges with grey Halfords plastic primer. Was then going to maybe use some Precision Paints weathered concrete paint... http://www.phoenix-paints.co.uk/enamel.asp?F_Railway=32 Has anyone out there used it? not much. been up to my eyes at work. Have just finished the job i was on at Paddington and this week has one trip to Brussels (via Eurostar) on Weds then i am off for a few days. kids on holiday but i may get some railway time in as well...

The light level is very low and al a bit funky so you need better kit to do it justice. You get the idea though with the phone camera thing.

Its a new discovery this Gen thing. Living where I do (SW19) there are masses of rail lines around me - but its being at the right place to see something interesting without giving over hours at a time!

Does anyone use Rail Gen for info on whats where? What do the codes mean they use 5ZRR etc? i am guessing it is some sort of diagram ref but have no idea where to translate it!
