Re: How do you guys come up with the name for your layouts?

Re: Now getting really hacked off !

Silly question:

Re: Vitrains

I have a Vi-trains Class 47 currently on sale on eBay, they are lovely locos but very prone to dropping brake pipes, couplings, jumper leads, etc on to the track. Beautifully detailed locos but a bit too delicate for exhibition running.

Re: Some tram questions

I know it's over 10 months since the last posting here, but yesterday I was at the East Anglian Transport Museum at Carlton Colville, near Lowestoft and took these photos of how their tram line terminates: At the Chapel Road end: http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb303/piermaster/EATM/LondonHR21858...

Re: Essellty - a micro-layout

Please do not run Thomas on it  The attraction of the layout is the wonderful build quality and the originality of the idea. I would never run Thomas or his 'friends' on anything I own - I can't stand the bloody things!!!! Even as a kid I hated the original books!!! Essellty is different, it...

Re: DRS 66 & Blue Circle Cement at Aberdeen

Hi Shaun, I left Aberdeen in the early 60s as a wee bairn to get dragged up in Southend-on-Sea, then moved to Romford, Chelmsford and now in Stowmarket, Suffolk. I return to Scotland each year to get rejocked and to Aberdeen to see the dwindling numbers of family every two years. Here's my Aberdeen:...

Re: DRS 66 & Blue Circle Cement at Aberdeen

Interesting photos Shaun, My grandparents lived in Torry - the posh bit once known on bus blinds as 'Garden City' and before the 'back to front' houses were built between Balnagask Road and Tullos Industrial Estate in the late 1960s, I used to do my train watching in that area and remember the Blue ...
