Re: Southport Pier

Closed earlier this month due high maintenance costs and council cut backs. The car is currently locked up at the pier head pending removal for scrap, it saw less than 10 years service.

Re: Model Rail Scotland 2015

I was in Glasgow on business and spent 3 hours at ModelRail on the Friday afternoon 20/02/15. The last time I went to ModelRail Scotland was when it was held at the McLellan Galleries in Sauchiehall Street - that was over 30 years ago and to quote one of this year's stewards "That was when the ...

Re: My 2014 Exhibition Schedule

Hi all, Been busy with a new work contract and I'm supposed to be semi-retired!!! Just had a great weekend with New Walmington Pier at the Festival of Model Tramways at Manchester Museum of Transport 2 weeks ago - that is the furthest north this little layout has gone to. The rest of my 2014 Exhibit...

Hi Alex,

Site has crashed again!! Sorry to disappoint you but the only one model shop in Central London 'Wheels of Steel' is closed on Sunday as most smaller shops are.

Many thanks,

Re: Adding Drivers to Your Model Trains/Locomotives.

Hi, I've done the same with all but one item on my 'Essellty' micro-layout. The one I wouldn't attempt is the Hejan W&M Railbus as having cut my fingers and bled on the interior whilst chipping the brute, I am reluctant to get back to that vehicle's interior again. Nor have I added drivers to my...

Re: Parrs model railway, Lowestoft

I spoke to Anna Parr this morning about this posting and she and her dad Andrew both get hacked off by these rumours on forums.

Andrew Parr is very much alive and well, so is his daughter Anna, and they are both still running Parrs in Lowestoft.

No more rumourmongering please.
