I just realised... It's N gauge! Yep. N gauge models are incredibly finely detailed, realistic and reliable these days. Gone are the old fat road rolling pizza cuting wheels. They've been replaced by fine profile blackened ones to NMRA RP25 standards and even the track has a finer scale look with t...

Many thanks for all the compliments. The roads are made from painted cardboard with packing pieces under to give a camber. And the pavements also are from cardboard covered with pavement paper while the kerb stones are strips of evergreen plastic. The layout is new - it still isn't quite finished. I...
