Re: Bachmann P2 ?.

It would be a great opportunity if they did do a P2, but one like Mons Meg with the A4 shape/styling

Re: Big "up" for Bachmann :)

They're superb. Just picked up an old Crepello model but it lacked a pair of cabside windows. Shawplan couldn't help but luckily Bachmann had a pair (had to have the white quarter lights) Had to pay for spares with PayPal as they wouldn't take credit/debit cards but Im pleased to say the deltic is r...

Re: More eBay nonsense...........

I've just realised the irony in saying 'he's never visited a channel island' and yet he's been to Sodor... Sodor must have moved I could have sworn it was just off the end of the Furness peninsula, Vicarstown being the opposite end of the causeway to Vickerstown (Barrow) Still have my old laminated...

Re: Hornby vs Bachmann A4

Who is in the thinking that if you get the Mallard it as to be in blue LNER & not in BR Green ?. I personally don't mind either & ought to leave my next RR 60022 just as it is (Dad has my 4468). The last one got altered to 024 Kingfisher as a fictitiously preserved loco (along with an ultra...

Re: More eBay nonsense...........

Lucky him. X Types are quite cheap now, being only a Ford Mondeo in a posh frock.
Actually though, for such a low price at Hattons, you'd be nuts to ignore it.
I got the release from 2011/12 with the small yellow panel.
Might get this one with the ladder.

Re: More eBay nonsense...........

I was going to be brave & politely contact Peters Spares on ebay, suggesting he might want to drop the price of his early version Class 23 "Baby Deltic" from his current rate of £137 inc P&P.
A lot of others have it listed at £75 & Hattons currently at £63 delivered.

Re: I must stop spending!

Saw a guy selling some nice N gauge stuff at a car boot on Sunday.
Only things were he was just packed up & I had little cash spare.

Re: Hornby Britannia class query

I'm down to just my 70008 "Black Prince" now, along with my Norfolkman train pack.
Donated my dad my former Robin Hood, made up as 70013 Oliver Cromwell.

OO loco bell

Have probably asked before but does anyone know who supplied bells for OO locomotives as spares? I already have one (intended to fit my A4 Dominion of Canada) but would like another to fit the front of a King George V.
