Re: Class 25 snow plough??
Hi Ian,
Best bet is to email Bachmann for the Class 24/25 Snow Plough accessory pack,
cost should be no more than £2.50p + S.A.E.

Not a bad looking model, but that snow plough looks to be sitting too low on the model, unless there's a NEM pocket mounted on the bogie ? http://images.fotopic.net/yw7ej5.jpg 153 333 & 156 405 passing Stenson Jct heading for Derby 08-08-2003 Snow plough detail http://images.fotopic.net/yw7ej1.j...

Re: Anyone use Railpictures?
I used to use them until I kept getting to many rejections to prefectly good photos. Some typical lame excuses to expect; "Sky too blue or too cloudy, too much sky" "Wrong colour of smoke from a steam engine !!!" ? "Image too dark" ? (that photo was made after midnight)...

Re: Hornby 3 to 5 pole armature conversion
There's no need to change the magnet if converting from a 3 pole armature to a 5 pole armature. The only reason why the magnet would need to be replaced is; if the original magnet is weak or has lost it's power altogether. Given the age of the Hornby Class 25's, I would guess that the magnets are we...

The complete drive unit from the HST (5 pole version) X942B/NISK/5P, will fit the Hornby Class 25 locomotive.

Both Blue Pullman power cars have only two windows located in the power cars. There should be three windows.

Re: What should Hornby make next?
What should Hornby make next ? why Hornby ? what about Bachmann, what should they make next ? Personally, from my own point of view, I would like to see either Hornby or Bachmann produce a Blue Pullman. Failing that, then both companies introducing a range of Dmu/Emu's and possibly a few Electric lo...
