Cheers for all the comments - I found that my layout looked messy without a 'skirt' :oops: After visiting several model railway exhibitions, I noticed most of them dressed-up their layout - so I followed the wife into the local fabric shop :oops: :oops: where we bought some burlap (sold by the yard)...

Thanks for looking - Been experimenting with woodland scenics polyfiber for these two shots - I stuck down some lichen, then pulled apart some geen and darkbrown polyfiber. I then sprayed with a 50/50 PVA solution and sprinkled a couple of different shades of fine turf including some yellow to try a...

Thanks for all the comments - really must invest in a digital camera - currently putting 35mm onto a CD! Really like that Class 73 in Pullman colours! I could certainly see that running on my layout! :) Is that Hornby by any chance?
