Re: Exmoordown TMD - Modern 00

Looks like a good start.
Double slip, just insulate all rails and traet like a single section, will be fine. However, my "early" class 66 (4 wheel pick ups) did not like my double slip , they lost pick up when "turning" so i removed it on the 4th build.

Re: Rimenough MPD

Couple more class 60 ready for action, though there wont be much as Rimenough is having a break (in the middle!) while i take it down and finish Oliver's Road Rmd. anyway, class 60045 & 60070 are ready for service. Both have light weathering and of course sound. http://i173.photobucket.com/album...

Re: Rimenough MPD

60016 Rail was next on the to do list. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w55/piemanlarger/Rimenough/chassisspeakersbody.jpg I dont like the clean wheels and bogie sideframes, even if a loco has been cleaned these are nearly always dirty /rusty http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w55/piemanlarger/Rim...

Re: Rimenough MPD

Decided i did not like the red welshman plate next to the tail lights, every time i looked at it it seemed as if there was something wrong with the lights!

So the neat little pathefinder goes on tour!

Re: The Hornby Q1

Hi Tony, much snow in the Gower tonight?

I had a Q1 which i weathered and fitted a smoke unit too. It ran faultlessly and really was one of my favourite models in the steam era!

Have Holts not got any left?

Re: Rimenough MPD

IKB was a limited edition done by Rail express i believe. Check out e-bay, usually on there every now and then.
