Thanks Pete I only have a select so I cant change my lighting at the moment. My Lenz gold has 5 different types of lighting effects strobe, mars etc. I would like to have the lights go dim and then brighten up again if you know what I mean. Hi Walter Your lights look great, love what you have done in the cab, never thought of that. How much resistance did you use in the cab and where is it exactly? Britannia with 8000 ohm resistor's on LED's.Looks more real & smoke generator. This is my favorite loco! http://i162.photobucket.com/al...

Thanks for that Martin I have installed a Lenz Digital Plus Gold JST DCC Decoder but I didnt think I could change any of my CV's with the select except for the speed. I had a look at the Lenz manual and theres plenty I can do, but I currently dont have as far as I understood it, a controller capable...

Does F8 work with the select and if so on what scale does it reduce it buy.

Another function on select is F3 which seems to reduce the power to the motor by 1/2. Would this be correct.

Oh bugger I started painting last night, painted dark chocolate for doors lighter brown for panelling cream/beige with gold trim for seats. Thanks for that. I was considering painting it white and brown for wooden parts and a red/yellow for the seats.
