Re: Look out Flickr here we come.

I have a few alias facebook accounts with no friends linked to them. They are free. I thought about using one to host my pics. Photos are easy to upload to albums and just post the url in the img tags here. Here is my first test pic. https://scontent-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/19748406_43556799016...

You'll be happy to know that Peco set track points are not electrofrog.

Re: Baseboard material !!

Do not buy any Far Eastern plywood as it is only fit to burn. I recently bought this... Far Eastern Shitwood..jpg It was flat when I got it from the woodyard and was like a ski jump the next day. Stupidly, I even tried to use it thinking if I screwed it to a frame it would pull it flat. Total waste ...

Peco 6ft way gauge.

Why don't Peco make their points fit their track spacing gauge? (I know the gauge is not prototype spacing). A crossover using medium radius points only needs a tad of filing to allow for IRJs, but I have been filing away at two code 100 slips for a while now and it's looking like I may even have to...

Re: Gaugemaster Prodigy Handset

I have had a repair done F.O.C. on out of warranty equipment.
Even so, it is worth asking them for a price to repair.

Re: Ticket refunds

I regularly travel from Liverpool to Southampton via Euston and Waterloo. One of my worries is that I have been told that if my first train is late and I miss my connection, I can not just use my ticket on the next train. If it is not my fault that I am late, why can I not. Or have I been told wrong?

I have a crossover and trap point using 3xPM1s operated from one lever with no problem.
I use a Gaugemaster CDU supplied with 24v.

Re: Hornby 4Fs?

The Hornby loco drive 4F was announced in 2011, using the old body on a new chassis. I think it was about £20 more than the all new Bachmann 4F.
