Re: Bachmann split chassis poll

Re. the SR N class - I had my doubts about that one as the Model Rail special (Britain's Model Trains) doesn't say it's split chassis, and from photos in an article I found online about converting it to DCC (http://www.bromsgrovemodels.co.uk/bachmannndccinstr.htm) it certainly didn't look it. Howev...

Re: Hornby 2010 Product information

The N15 'Sir Meligrance' with the watercart tender was a nice surprise :D. I'm also looking at a set of the new Hawksworth coaches to go with the Earl Cairns castle I'll be buying shortly, the B17/2 will be a must have as well. I love that class

Re: Hornby 2010 Product information

an S15 would be nice so I wont have to buy a kit and make it

I'm actually hoping for some 4-4-0s too, like Bigmet said a 4P would be really nice, plus an L1 or E1 for SR mixed duties. Perhaps a GWR 4-4-0 County to re vamp the one they had ages ago.

I have smoke deflectors for it actually, from the old airfix kit.

I was thinking about doing that, hopefully they fit without looking stupid or needing a whole lot of modification.

Re: Horsted Keynes - East Ginstead, OO - Progress!

Well actually I bought the loco from Rails and got it at a bargain. Then I sent it off to TMC to have it re named/numbered How much did they charge you for that service? I forget, it was expensive though. I think it was around 60 quid. But I'm not comfortable with doing transfers yet. I'll gladly r...

my personal favourite is the one I had made by TMC "Sir Hectimere" You bought something from TMC! :o I don't know how the guys there can sleep at night, what they are doing is daylight robbery! For example they advertise 45305 Alderman A.E.Draper in their range at £175, I have renumbered...

Re: Horsted Keynes - East Ginstead, OO - Progress!

Hi Redline Well having good connections through my club im a member of and hearing the hornby releases bit earlier than most, there is not an S15 due out next year so going to have to put up with the Wills kit for a bit longer. To be fair it wouldn't be a big job, Tender they already have in the ra...

Re: Horsted Keynes - East Ginstead, OO - Progress!

I heard a rumor going around a while ago that Hornby might release an S15 in the next year, seeing as they just did the Clan (scaled down Britannia) they very well could do an S15, and I'd buy at least one of those :D

N15s are great though (I have 5 haha), what livery are you looking to get?
