Could be a good bet for a CMX replacement. Even the pad holders look identical to the CMX. Here is a review

Simply the best track cleaner in the world....ever. Just make sure your loco has been taking steroids.

3 class 108 in green, blue and grey and all blue. I like variety on my layout and have many different locos.

A few years back I bought a HST and some coaches as a non runner. I cleaned the wheels from black to silver and it worked just fine.

Just a small update. I fancied doing something brave so the ideal candidate was the Dapol track cleaner. I have concluded that as a cleaner it is crap but works a treat as a vacuum cleaner. However the bright purple livery with Dapol printed on the side does not really fit in to my layout that well,...

Send them back to Hornby. As this problem is commonly known you may get a good result. They are very good at customer support.
