The mini has some engine part sticking out of the top of the bonnet, whoever owns it is obviously a bit of a petrol head!

The shed was free when I went to collect a load off stuff from someone off eBay, it was so badly built that I have covered it in trees to hide the gaping whole in the roof where it meets the wall.

One vent is missing and a window but I quite like the ramshackle appearance!

The walls were bought £2.85 for 4 feet; quite nice, flexible black fabric stuff with bits stuck on. Your eyes are excellent, that is a Pannier, Bachmann that I got for £15 "new" after a gentleman died. The J72 is one of a pair that I got also £15 each. I think that one is the mainline o...

Done some more Ballasting and bought some finer Ballast as I think this "Fine" one is too coarse. Also bought two Oak trees and a load more Lichen, need about a bin bag full though, wonder where I can get it cheap? Also laid my two new sidings and think I have room for a third... Unfortuna...

My curves are pretty tight, I don;t run modern trains so not a huge problem but I do have difficulty getting my Flying Scotsman round. I think it is the 8 wheel tender so I am toying with the idea of changing it's wheels and see if that helps.

Buffers

Here are my two scratch built buffers, a first for scratch building for me, each one is made of 9 matchsticks, painted brown, washed in black, then black front painted on and yellow strips using wifes nail varnish. Finally a little green at the base. When I glue them in place I will put small shrubs...

I'll have to check, £20 off eBay, I simply cannot believe the difference to my old Hornby 915's. Speed control is amazing but it's also the power it seems to give the trains, especially, like I said, my poor runner which now goes like new (On two of my three lines - time to save for another Gauge M...
