Re: The Great Model Railway Challenge

I quite enjoyed it as the programme gained momemtum. The novices did some great landscaping for beginners. I think he had done it before maybe.
Yes I thought the program was fun. I supose that is what it is about. Any program on the box promoting the hobby gets a tick from me.

Re: Ideas on second hand coach stock

I think I must be the odd ball here as I like my models to look like new as possoble. I have a fine collection of loco and rolloing stock and have run out of storage space and most are in nearly new condition even though most were second hand purchases. Often some very cheap prices as well. When buy...

Re: sticking wheels

Easy way to check quartering as a geneal rule is to look from the side of the chassis at the wheels in turn and the spokes should be clearly in line with each other. if you can see part of the opposite spoke looking through the pair then check the quartering of that pair. That is the easest way of c...

Re: Where's the Hornby R3615 Peckett gone?

Why dont you email Hornby and ask them. I expect they will tell you if there is a mistake or if they have removed anything from sale.. But to behonest, if Hornby remove anyhing from sale they dont have to say why, do they? It is their property, it is up to them if the dont want to sell it for some r...

Re: Cheap Flock

Hi Ian,,,,,,,,, well, watched the vid and thanks for sharing it with us. But my take on this one is, what a lot of effort to go to. By the time you have bought the paint and paid the gas or electic bill to dry it out and spent all that time prepairing and you have to buy the litter in the first plac...

Re: Can someone help me with realtime trains?

I am sorry I can't help, because I have the same problem understanding abreviations which seem to be taking over English these days, since the mobile phone text speak took over peoples lives. Bring back English and keep text spek for the mobiles. One thing I would say is when companies who publish a...
