Bachmann Class 66 motor

Hi people, any help please. As you can see by the pictures, I have a motor were 'both' the wires have come off. Can not see any sign of where they were attached to and it seems that if its only used for DCC theres no need for the interference suppressor capacitors so that would make it simple to sol...

Not concerned about points over joints as I have nowhere else were I could have a layout. Was hoping to have it in what is no...

Looking at the first picture Alan, he has access from the side, so no need to lift of the top

Re: New layout

Well that was fun, a few hours spent sorting the bases of the sheds and also another 'Wills' kit I built, fits well alongside the 'Peco' shed and very pleased to say locos run along those filled in tracks with no problems. Now I have a question, what colour base should I use on the main areas before...

Re: Identify decoder

Hi Dave
Have the Hornby Elite so will that do? if so what do I need to do to read the chip. Been able to do a reset on cv 8 and given it a new ID but that seems to be a common reset value

Identify decoder

Hi people got my self an old Bachmann class 66 fitted with an unknown decoder, was hoping one of you might be able to tell whose make it is. Done a search with the numbers but got no joy. Re: New layout

Agree with MG, I'd never thought of it. Marvelous modern era workings. The motive power is nothing I've ever seen. If I dare say, would love to see some video of that most interesting goods train banging through the cross over. So this is why I'm so slow at getting the job done, to busy playing tra...

Re: New layout

Hi Montfort
Support pillars are cut from a Gaugemaster foam tunnel mouth which I picked up 2nd hand and cheep, and the plate girder bridge sides are from Peco. Very simply cut a section out from the foam to take the bridge sides.

Re: New layout
