Withdrawn J94 68049 waits in the Shed yard to be collected by the local preservation society who are hoping to reopen the Colliery Branch as a Heritage railway after it closes. The engine is in immaculate condition!!!!!!!

9.JPG
There's a 'foreigner' lurking in the shed yard. D5312 hides behind D5013. Looks like it's been brought in on snowplough duties.

10.JPG
D5700 has departed for the main line junction and D5085 is bringing in a train of empties up for the colliery. The DPU seems to be having an extended stay in the bay platform. 'Another cup guys?'

Re: Hattons store closure

Hattons are anticipating a compulsary ban of 5 to 6 weeks on despatching items by Royal Mail and the likes of DPD etc.
Which means NO MORE MAIL ORDER.
They are thinking this will start on Thursday 26th March.

Go to their website for full details.

Re: Standard class 2 78xxx

Hattons are advertising pre-orders for the Standad 2. They are quoting a delivery date of Q1 2021. I've got a Birthday and Christmas before then so I should be able to afford the £162 price they are quoting. Rails gift tokens please family. I don't think Hattons do them. Prices just seen to keep on ...
