Loco's and gradients

Hi Modellers I was thinking about loaded, in theory, but not drunk  , trains on gradients. In real life locos have to move heavy trains, up hill and down dale, all day and night, if necessary. Re: oo scale three island platform station

Hi Pete 12345 As I wrote to Jim about the online idea about using two pieces of 9 mm plaster board, it looked okay but I'm not sure about the life of plaster board. On the basebord rail end protectors, both ideas seem good, but I think with the screws, they could be more secure. all the best Kev

oo scale three island platform station

Hi Modellers Now I have this crazy idea for a "London" terminus station with three island platforms, which most likely needs to lose a platform?? My baseboard is only twenty four inches wide by forty four inches long, happily I am running Two and Four Car Multiple Units, c/o Bachmann and H...

Freight Driver Reduncy

Dear Sir It saddens me that as "The European Parliament" tries to sneak in "Mega Trucks" through the back door, Freight Train Drivers are being laid off. By one of the biggest companies. This is really bad new for everyone, not just the country cottage/small road communities that...

Re: inspirations, for model bridges

Hi 0121 modeller I do like your bridges, and I have been trying your methods, but, I wish the lengths of styrene "I Beam" were a bit longer, as I am getting a collection of waste, unless I can utilise them it will become expensive, please advise. thankyou retiredoperator
