I agree! Looks good to me, it will of course look much better on the layout anyway rather than the kitchen table.

Oh dear, it's happened...

We have accepted an offer on our house and have bought a new one...

Dismantling starts in earnest. Watch this space for some pictures of the move. Good news is, I get the garage in the new house for the layout :D

Just read this thread for the 1st time.

Fantastic work!

Going to make a coffee now and go through from start to finish proper.

For what it's worth, I think the pylons looked good. The hill to the right kept them in scale for me...

How did you do the rocky outcrops? How's the river going? The rocks were done using the woodland scenic kit (£12.00). I personally think it is brilliant. Just mix the powder, pour it into the mold. Leave it for 45 minutes and pop it out. I just then stuck mine where I wanted them using some mod-ro...

hi happy fathers day to all you dad's Yes, nice one - managed to sneak in a couple of hours on the back of it today. Used to get another hour in the loft every week thanks to Ugly Betty, but thats finished now... On another note the expansion thing sounds a nightmare, is it the board or the rail? I...

Latest progress, not got too much done due to immense heat in the loft and work commitments. I have recently resorted to 'naked modelling' - not a pritty sight! http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r86/mark_brody/June%2007/100_5752.jpg http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r86/mark_brody/June%2007/100_57...

Looking good to me squire. I'm not sure I would worry about painting where the ballast is going though. I'd just put it straight down onto the cork. You won't be able to see through the ballast once in place. But for the green type scenery, yes I'd paint earth colours underneath. My main advice at t...

Haven't done much of late (work, stag nights and making the mistake of starting the wine before I get in the loft). Grassed the banks and added the woodland scenics water: http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r86/mark_brody/May%2007/a.jpg I now have arch like reflections in the water... The water stuf...

It might do if you have a decent printer, I have an Epson from PC world, good for most things but nowhere near the quality of the original from Metcalfe.
