Hand controllers.

Good Day all fellow rail friends. Has anyone built a hand held control using a ready made pmw motor speed control if so how successful is it ? I am using controllers built to the spec on Flashbangs web and are working ok I would be interested if there was any upgrade to this controller. :) Monty 2420
