Re: Steam Trains to Sovereign Street

Thats a great idea glencairn. :)
From what I've read, landowners would allow a line to be built on / through their land if concession was made for a small halt or station for the "Lord of the manor".

Re: St. Blazey's - My first layout - Stage 3 Building

Well that didn't work. I could have sworn I had a hole cutting set only to realise I borrowed one ages ago and gave it back. I did get out all the 4 boards and roughly mark where the legs will be screwed in and detatched the wiring from the lighting bus for the buffer stops that will now need...

Re: Frontington & Backwoods Railway

Yes that looks much better than the scatter. :D From what I remember, (I haven't actually used static grass yet but have seen others and some videos on the subject) Insert the earthing point into the glue on the baseboard (where your going to add the static grass), then use the static grass applicat...

Re: How to vacuum?

Push a cloth into the hoovers nozzle leaving some of the cloth over hanging. It can be secured with an elastic band.
Once done, remove the cloth and you'll find all your loose scatter has collected in the cloth rather than sucked into the canister.
Hope it helps.
Thanks
