Finding the history of a model loco

Is there a place, a holy grail if you will, where I can search and find information on a loco including when it was released, how long the production run was for, and the usual suspects including what motor is inside, wether the loco was ever updated in part or as a whole, any chasis information etc...

Re: Car Boot

My pleasure Dublo. ;)
Also, if considering selling the Linka set on ebay, I've noticed, you will get more (modelling funds  ) by selling each mould seperatly.
Hope it helps.
Thanks

Hi Andy and welcome to the forum. :) Yes you've got to love Linka. Here's my station building. The smaller details (drainpipes etc.) still need to be added once I have the platforms down to place it on. https://www.newrailwaymodellers.co.uk/Forums/download/file.php?id=32398 You can read th...

Sorry for the confusion. For the tunnel I meant on the main loops so you can't see (all) the train, all of the time.

Re: Choosing a brake van

You may be able to find brake vans decorated specifically for the area your modelling. I have at least 3. Here's one of them with "St. Blazey" printed on it. https://hattonsimages.blob.core.windows.net/products/33-301X-LN-01_3171889_Qty1_1.jpg Hope it helps. Thanks End2end

Re: 13 x 4 layout. Pulling hair out !!!

Hi wuggythewug and welcome to the forum. (great name by the way :D ) You could add sidings serving industry or a depot of some sort giving you activity away from the main lines, loco / coach cleaning facilities, an engine shed or engine maintanance shed. How about a tunnel? Trains popping in and out...
