Re: St. Blazey's - My first layout - Stage 3 Building

A preview of where I am upto so far on my Linka Inn. The front view with the modules I have made so far. The lower module has already been sprayed black for an undercoat although the window frames and middle "banding" will stay black. Linka Inn1sm.jpg A close up of the main buildings 2 mod...

Re: Cab crew.

Have a look at this crazypotter. https://www.newrailwaymodellers.co.uk/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=48416&hilit=bubble I bought figures from china via ebay. Very cheap and 100 in the pack. They were 1:87 but the tiny size difference did'nt matter for internal seating. They were multi-colour an...

Re: Fleischmann HO BR 141 not running.everything looks connected ok! But no movement unless I touch the track/pantograph

A quick check is to see if the track is clean. Beyond that it sounds like a loose connection. I don't know the internals of the loco but another member may have had the same problem. Try using a magnifiying glass or a jewellers loupe to look at each connection close up to see if there is any "j...

Re: Llwyndrissi Halt.

I have not yet fully decided what will end up on my layout. All I can say is that it is not going to be a conventional scene. I am going to have some fun here with a tropical UK based theme with an interesting story involving a characterful individual. For the milled box, what about a chap creating...

Re: DCC info

Yes.
Perhaps change them all from 3 so any new loco (set as 3) will not control any other loco when programming or changing the new loco's number
Thanks

I'm actully doing something a little special with the floor so it's not actually stuck in place yet.
All will be revealed in due course.

Re: St. Blazey's - My first layout - Stage 3 Building

No posts from me for a while as I have become infested............with Linka. Working on my Inn, I have the main buildings ground floor completed but it broke in 4 places when I was handling it as it's still very fragile. Albeit still strung together by whisps of dry pva. I almost gave up at t...

Wouldn't wear and tear (and how to deal with it) not be meticulously documented somewhere?

Re: Blueberry's micro layout

An other idea found somewhere: ML 19.jpg I keep looking at this layout. I like the way that one end of the scenic break sticks out (at the tunnel end) and the other end is set back. With 3 small engines and 4 small coaches (and a passing loop around the back (perhaps another satation?)) you could r...

Re: Scenic divider

To me that looks wrong. I think it would be better to see the whole of the trees or at least the upper part (with perhaps sky behind them) rather than the lower part. As an example, This.... https://image.shutterstock.com/image-photo/sunset-over-green-meadow-trees-260nw-415435675.jpg Or this perhaps...

Re: Blueberry's micro layout

By the size of that layout there's probably a passing loop behind the front scene too. :)
Thanks
